Who we are

What we collect when you enquire

Your name, mobile number, the treatment you are interested in, and whether you agreed to marketing messages. We also record which advert or website brought you here (campaign codes and click identifiers), the page you enquired from, and the time.

Because your enquiry is about dental treatment, it is health information, which the law calls special category data.

Why we use it and our legal basis

• To respond to your enquiry and arrange your visit. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b)), and, for the health element, provision of health care (Article 9(2)(h)) under the supervision of a GDC-registered professional.
• To send you marketing texts, WhatsApp messages and emails. Only if you ticked the marketing box. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) and Article 9(2)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time by replying STOP, using the unsubscribe link, or contacting us.
• To measure which adverts work. Legal basis: your consent, given through the cookie banner. See "Cookies" below.
• To keep records required by our regulators. Legal basis: legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).

Who we share it with

We use trusted suppliers to run our enquiry, messaging and booking systems. Each has a written contract with us and stores your data in the UK or European Economic Area unless stated:

• Our patient enquiry system and automation platform (UK/EU hosted).
• Text-message and email providers.
• WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland) if you message us or agree to WhatsApp messages. Meta's servers may be outside the UK; transfers are covered by the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
• Our online booking provider.
• Our finance partner, only if you ask about finance.
• Meta and Google, only if you accepted advertising cookies, and only in a form that does not identify you to them beyond the click you made (hashed contact details and click identifiers). This lets us tell those platforms that an advert led to an enquiry or treatment.

We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

If you do not become a patient, we keep your enquiry for 24 months from your last contact with us, then delete it. If you become a patient, your records are kept for the period required for dental records. Marketing consent is kept until you withdraw it.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to marketing, and withdraw consent at any time. Contact info@crewedentalcare.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

Essential. We store your cookie choice and, during your visit, the advert that brought you here, in your browser. These do not track you across other sites.

Advertising (only with your consent). If you accept, we load the Meta Pixel and Google tag. They set cookies that let Meta and Google see that you visited this site and enquired, so we can measure our adverts. You can change your mind by clearing your browser's site data, which brings the banner back.

We do not load any advertising cookies before you choose.

Automated messages

Some of our replies by text or WhatsApp are automated. They can help with booking, prices and how treatment works. They never give clinical advice. Anything clinical is answered by a member of the team.
